It was a cold and rainy day, but you would have never known because the smiles radiating from the guests at Jacki’s baby shower for her daughter, Annabelle, were like pure sunshine.  On December 14, Venue 92’s “Something Blue” room was transformed into the most adorable setting for a baby shower.  Typically, this room hosts a nervous and excited bride surrounded by her closest friends and family.  This day was not much different.  Friends and family surrounded a nervous and excited mommy-to-be to help welcome her precious little girl.

Three guest tables draped in lavender floor length linens were topped with rose colored linen napkins.  Each place featured an antique china setting complete with tea cup and saucer.  Guests were encouraged to pick their favorite china pattern to determine their seat.  Tea cups were filled to the brim with hot apple cider or peppermint tea, complete with peppermint stick stirrers.  Lush arrangements of hydrangea, garden roses and peonies were clustered together in pink mercury glass and pink ceramic vases.  Little details included an ivory metal pram decorated with pink tulle to hold gifts.  Strung like bunting across the span of windows were tiny baby clothes in shades of pink and white.  Window sills held baby pictures of the mommy and daddy to be.  A pink glass hobnail cake platter held a two tier round cake with ruffled white icing and cascading peonies and roses.

Heather & Beth, you really out did yourself!  What a beautiful shower and beautiful use of the space!
